Where is the best place to get DSS?
Unless I am mis-understanding your acronym - the best place to get Driveshaftshop Axles is straight from Driveshaftshop themselves. Click here for a link to their page.

Well, the guy from Gator Racing Axles was suppose to call me between 10 - 11 EST this morning to further discuss the details of my vehicles as well as the demands I will have on his axles - phone never rang.
We'll see what happens, but I may just wait until DSS is finished with their Stage 5 Axles.

To those asking what I am planning to do with the differential once I beef up the axles. This coming weekend my friend & i are getting together to yank the differential and axles out of the car. As well, I have already placed an order for all new OEM Seals & Bearings for the differential. Soon as it is out I will be dropping it off at a local shop to have them disassemble the differential. I will then be sending out all the major components to Performance Cryogenics for Cryo-treatment!

Nothing on this car is a must.
Many members say that you will need to upgrade your differential if you go forced induction. However there are numerous members who are still using their stock differential and are running strong!
However, if you are someone who likes to launch alot and have forced induction - it wouldn't be a bad idea to have a set of strong axles in mind!

At this point I still have not heard back from the gentlemen at Gator Racing.
Due to this I will most likely be going with a set of the Driveshaftshop Stage 5 Axles, just holding tight until they can re-design them.
I truly don't like the fact that I called Gator Racing on Wednesday to ask about custom fabricating me some axles. He then told me that he needs a list of my modifications and to send it over, that he will call me the next morning to discuss more details. Its now two days later and I still haven't heard from him. If this is a show of his service, I'm not interested.

Sure I may be asking alot, but is a simple phone call considered "alot"?

Nope, you're not asking for much...just a confirmation phone call back that he wants your business and is wanting to work with you...that just plain sucks

O no, not Driveshaft shop..

I really hope that they do a better job on their Honda axles then they do on their VW ones. My self and many others had all sorts of fitment issues with their stuff. I broke my passenger side axle three times in a row before they finally fessed up to a design flaw (2mm too short). What a mess!
