I suspected this on my own CTSC install as my boost gauge does not go past 3.8psi EVER.

What I did was take the elbow off of the front of the supercharger, start the car up and have someone rev it while you put your hand in the elbow to determine if the bypass valve is closing.

It helped me determine that mine was working properly.

So you don't have a boost gauge? I suggest getting one. Just get a inexpensive mechanical one from Auto Zone or some place like that.

I have a Cyberdyne digital gauge and it is not going past 3.8psi. But I put a FAZE mechanical one that I got from Auto Zone for $30.00 and it read just over 6psi. (and yes, I returned the cheapy FAZE gauge for my money.)

Not to bring this topic back up, but, I just want to post up some updates of my own situation.

I have ditched my digital Cyberdyne gauge and put in a mechanical vac/boost gauge. I suspect now that I am having belt slip issues.

The other night I took the car out and during a 2nd gear pull to red line I watched the boost gauge and it just surpassed 5 psi and then went down to 4 even though my engine was still revving.

I went over the vacuum lines again and again and find no holes or incorrect routing. And I double-checked all of my hose clamps and such from the blower to the after cooler to the throttle body.

So, my next venture is to get a new good year belt and see what happens...
