Default Supercharged and BOV need help

Hi guys,

I've bought a PLM intercooler for my comptech supercharger setup which will be running low boost (4.25 pulley). The piping has a HKS BOV mount on it, my question is will the BOV that comes with the comptech fit this? If not should I get an adaptor or just buy a HKS BOV or something? I have no idea what to buy or what to do. I'm not bothered about the sound, if I can blank it I will.

Any advice appreciated

Thanks

Someone might make an adapter that would adapt your HKS flange to a 1" port that you could plumb to the stock Comptech BPV.

PM me about the HKS - i'll see if its in budget.

Is there a standard flange name for the comptech flange or is it just a 1" port? Does it plumb back into the air intake elbow?

cheers

The comptech bypass valve doesn't mount like the greddy flange on your piping. It has a 1" hose that runs to the bypass valve on the boost side and is routed back into the intake side via another 1" hose, or if you prefer can be vented to atmosphere.

You have the right idea but those are all to mount different blow off valves. You basically just need a piece of 1" aluminum piping long enough to get a hose and clamp on and have it welded on. You may be able to do that over the existing flange, would have to see it. Perhaps the easiest solution would be to buy the correct bov for the flange you already have.

I think someone mentioned the stock comptech one was 1"? Here's a picture of the pipe in question, it has some other fittings too.. Are they for stock vac tubes?

One of those is for the air pump which should be a 3/4" port. I'm not sure what the other one is. What size are both of those?
