Which Supercharger?
Voted...SOS..While I run a CT and couldn't be happier as most have already said, updated/upgraded.
When I installed mine, only VT and CT available, I would go SOS now if I was N/A.
Get your SOS and you're gonna be happy!

^^^There is a guy named krazik here who used to track his Paxton blower equipped s2k with close to 500whp. Now he's turbo I believe.

I don't think he is concerned only with straight line performance.

Its strapped to a fully built AP1 motor & former Comptech Aftercooled kit. Will be tuned in a few weeks time. I'm hoping to push ~25 psi and about 500-550whp from it.

So far the most power anyone's gotten out of a C38 on an S2000 in the states is Loren Edwards- on his endurance race car and that was less than 350 WHP; while Joey Butel is currently making 560 WHP with his Vortech.
Joey runs a Sos kit @ 560whp, not a Vortech....
The highest Vortech number I can think of would be Sidewayz. Somewhere over 500whp.

Wow there's a lot of mis-information in this thread.. but I'm only going to correct this one.

the fact that Loren Edwards- an excellent race car builder and tuner couldn't get more than 350 whp out of his C38. I've never questioned Joey's or Sideway's numbers.

Yes if its not defective right out the box. But SOS has room for gains. So if you are satisfied with ~ 400-420 whp on the -81 blower or 430-450 whp on the -91 blower then the KW kit is better price wise. Which to me makes it a better choice. but if you want room to expand in the power department then the nod goes to SOS.
The KW kit has had its share of issues early on. My advice would be to have it installed by someone who has done multiple KW kit installs, this is crucial. Torquing, priming of the blower, and belt tension needs to be spot on.
For the SOS to be equal to the KW kit in WHP/TQ you are going to spend a lot more on the SOS kit. Some say you get what you pay for, so its really something to consider. But if you get a solid KW kit and its installed correctly its hard to not give it a shot at the price difference.
