I might recommend a Rotrex from TTS. KW just doesn’t deliver enough power with the c30 for my wants. 350-370 is nothing to poo poo when coming from N/A though and KW is quality kit that delivers for what it is. But having an SC kit capable of expanding to 450-500whp is where it’s at and all the centrifugal SC's SOS, VT, CT can do it.

The KW is ok up to 10 PSI, and it is quiet compared to the others, but as good as it is this would be my ranking of these four kits

1. SOS
2. CTSC
3. VT
4. KW

and I would really rank the top three as a near tie, given that the Comptech and SOS units use the same supercharger, and the Vortech is likely as good or better if you are going to high boost initially. But for introducing yourself to FI, and then going to high boost down the road, the SOS kit is very hard to beat. It is the my choice of record, unless somebody comes up with a convincing reason not too!

This is the same conclusion I have come to. I totally agree

I want a SOS hi-boost kit so bad. Sucks needing to convert to a return fuel system though if you want to go over 380ish on the DBW. Kinda makes me sad there isn't another way to get in the 450 range with just injectors, fuel pump, and FlashPro.

You can push 400whp with just ID1000 and walboro 255.

14lb pulley
ID1000
Walboro 255 LPH
SOS youtune kit

Trap speed? Well a base 6psi CT or SOS kit will net you aprox 110mph. 10psi 350-375whp kit will get you in the mid high teens. Sideways with his 500whp VTSC could probably touch a buck twenty five.
Link please?

I'd love to see a video and timeslip.

As I understand it, the primary (if not only) reason people are choosing vortec or paxton is the ability to make more than 380-400 whp? Is this correct?

It seems as though the rotrex has the best area under the curve at it's maximum power level compared to the others at the same power level. Given this, the rotrex makes the most sense. Stock like power delivery with optimal area under the curve up to high 300's whp. What application requires or even benefits from greater than 400 whp? If you need/have that much power you must be concerned only with straight line performance, in which case you would be better off with a turbo.

If there are people tracking/autocrossing 450whp CF powered S2000s I stand corrected.

^^^There is a guy named krazik here who used to track his Paxton blower equipped s2k with close to 500whp. Now he's turbo I believe.

I don't think he is concerned only with straight line performance.
