Default Supercharger Boost Question

I have the Comptec SC with stock pulley. I want to upgrade the to the 7lb pulley. Is this going to be too much for the engine. I dont want to blow it nor do I want to change the pistons to lower the compression.

Do I need new spring or anything inside the FPR? I think dyno tunning is out of the question becuase there is no one near me that does it. It is my everyday car and I dont want any issues that may effect reliability down the road. How long have you had the 7lb pulley?

The FPR can just be turned with a allen key, but you need a way to see you air/fuel. Maybe a wide band. I drove 2 hours to my dyno. Most people running higher boost also have a aftercooler. If done right, reliability is fine. Dosent sound like you have the right tuners around you to do this.

I dont think so either. I would make the drive but will dont have the a/c so I have that on my list to. I have an air fuel guage. Do you think it can be street tuned. I can just adjust the fuel to make the gauge read the same as it does now?

No its not accurate enough at all. Get an aftercooler instead.

Don't run the 7 PSI pulley WITHOUT the AC.
