Supercharger + Open Header
open header is not worth it since you can get just about the same thing running straight pipe. We tested both open header, and straight pipe on my04 before I did my custom exhaust for it.
Here is a clip of the stock mufflers cut off, and no resonator either. I think if someone does this again but extends the pipes out the tail then it wouldn't be so bad. Loud as F__K, but man it sounds amazing at WOT. Video doesn't do it justice on audio, but if you've ever heard a JGTC car in person then you already know what it should sound like in the video because it sound like one.

Sorta an old thread, but i thought i'd share.
My buddy works at the local Honda dealer and we're doin the old oil/spark plug change and started talking about this thread. So while the car was on the lift we removed the T1R 70mm. The car is sc and the exhaust is header back. Its louder than I ever imagined. I can't explain how loud it is and the youtube videos don't do it justice. I did notice loss of power down low even with the 4.77 rear. However, it did seem to pull harder up top. I suppose if you rarely drive the car you may be able to stand it. I couldn't see anyone cruising on the highway with 4.77 gears and open header though.

you get used to it, but when you switch back to your exhaust you realize how loud it was. i have 4.77 + supercharger as well and i did notice losses down low and lower midrange, but there were some gains in upper midrange-top end and the throttle response mid-top was amazing. it was most fun just because of the reactions it got out of people LOL
