i've done it on my sc car before, with a helmet (at the track) on it was still very very loud

 

personally I think it sounds like ass anyway so why even bother (on top of all the other things I mentioned).

 

sounds bad down low, sounds amazing up top

man your car is just obnoxiously loud..... so loud to the point that you are never allowed to drive in front of us and i just wanna smack you cuz i cant hear my own 12 inch sub in my car with top up and windows closed!!!

Our motors area great but without an exhaust they really do just sound like civic motors with no exhaust on either. Unless your turbo'd, then without an exhaust you sound like a mack truck down low and a SRT-4 up top. Not much better...

Well I was referring to a TC setup. a TC quiets down the exhaust significantly where as a SC makes it much louder.

 

bumping an old thread...

i'm thinking about putting in an electric cutout right after the cat. i figure this way, you get stock or ridiculously loud when you want it to be.

opinions?
