supercharger plugs
IK24 gets my recommendation as well.
AFAIK, check your plugs often and keep them well and truly stocked in your garage. These are your quickest wear and tear item apart from your air filter/engine lubricants.
Just because there are some reported failures doesn't mean the plugs are of substandard quality. If you don't do proper preventative maintenance, you really have no one to blame especially when you're running an FI application.

There are people who have run it for a while with no issues while others like me who had the ceramic break off (mine broke within 100miles...don't know what preventive maintainence I should have done for that one). I know of 2 other persons on these forums who have had their ceramics break at low milage.

Maybe I get a different batch of plugs down under or I'm in the lucky/safe club. I check my plugs every 2000KMs and do strictly competition work in the car. Have no reported problems, though I do note that I replace my plugs every 20,000KMs without fail.
Ok, so just from reading it looks like everyone got just about the same gap from .030- .034. I'm running 7lbs on the CTSC and I'm gonna go with the NGK 7173 this weekend, what gap should I use? Anyone in here running the same setup and has no problem with a certain gap? Let me know, thanks.
Geist is the only one who said no on NGKs however the consenses is that they are pretty good plugs. I just put them in with a 0.34 gap and everything is good to go, especially for $3.00 a plug

You guys have to be careful when typing these info.... .034 gap and .34 gap is a HUGE difference.

IK24s have failed. NGK 7173 have not seen a single report of failure or problems to date after a couple years in use. My current set have been in there for several thousand miles without any issue. However, I do appreciate Geist posting up the info. I will be keeping my eye on them even closer from here on in, but I will continue to use them till they indicate otherwise.
