Helms says 18ft lbs, but you can torque them up to 20ft lbs. Don't forget to add a dab of anti-seize.

And, don't forget to recheck them after a few hundred miles. They tend to come loose and this can be very bad.

Yo - reading skills > you.

Read my post again chief. I never said no NGK's.

I said no non-resistor plugs and that is exactly what the NGK 7173 is - look it up.

If you want a #7 copper NGK, then use the NGK BKR7E. If you want an Iridium, then use the NGK BKR7Eix.

yes and what we were all talking about were ngk 7173's champ and everyone else new what I meant. I love how people try and disect every single word. A ton of people have used NGK 7173 without any problems

I've used 7173's for over 20K, in my stock boost Vortech complete with stock coils and stock PCM.

I pick up no radio reception EMI from the non-resistor plugs. I dn't run a EMS, which may be more sensitive to non-resistor plugs. The 7173's have had no falures posted on S2ki unlike the Denso Iridiums. The stock plugs are a resistor plug, and there should also be no issue running the BK7RE's.

A -11 NGK plug is meant to be gapped at 1.1 mm (.044").
