Default Supercharger plus Cold Air Feed ideas

Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone had any pictures or ideas for cold air feeds they are done for their supercharged S2000 installs?

The standard cone filters are just subject to massive heatsoak from what I can see:

TTS example:

Kraftwerks Example: (even worse IMO)

I already have a AEM V2 installed in my car which need need to be removed so it would be a shame to not use something similar to that for the supercharger.

I was thinking of using silicone to make a feed to the supercharger from a similar position to where the AEM V2 CAI kit brings in air (drivers side front wing on UK right hand drive cars) but I have been reading about pressure loss so wasn't sure on best way to go - some inspiration would be handy.

Thanks
Anees

I would not suggest silicone for this as it might collapse under extreme vacuum and heat. Aluminum would be better.

I would like to see somebody use the full blown 1/2 size radiator, then fashion a cai with the new space up front.

Would FullBlown 1/2 radiator be able to keep up with cooling our cars on a road coarse, track, or long and continues highway pulls in 80f+ temps?

How about the killer chiller (google killer chiller kincaid).? I was chatting with the guy who makes the kits and he said that he can make one for s2000 applications.

With with the Killer Chiller we could run Smaller Heat Exchangers, less fluid, less weight.

Down side would be parasitic draw from running AC all the time. Isn't that how Killer Chiller works? It cools the fluid using your AC system?

Might not seem like a big deal on a COBRAs or any other V8 but, for us as soon as AC is on, car feels like a dog in lower RPMs.

I don't think the couple of horsepower robbed by the aircon pump will be made up for given the marginal amount it could cool the air charge, at full throttle it'd be barely noticeable chilling given the shear amount of air flowing through.

Reckon my cold air feed is just about big enough though
