Thumbs up Supercharger question

After having all NA ad-ons, I wanna go the SC way.
From all the info I read on the forum, the SC kicks in only after Vtec and helps to improove the top end only. that's what you see on a dyno, too and that's what I am not looking for. Who needs 300whp for half a second before red line?
Since many of you SC heads have smaller pulleys installed on their cars, I would like to ask if the folling would be possible.

My idea is:

Getting a smaller pulley that is able to boost 9psi. But since I want to make this car a keeper (I drive it only once a week) and want to play it save, I am looking for some kind of "waste-gate-equivalent" that would actually prevent the boost from getting this hight (max boost <9psi).
The result should be a stronger low-end (comparing to a stock Vortech pulley) since the SC would produce more boost and earlier in the RPM, but keeping the max. boost at the top end at around 7.5psi only. I heard of a company in the UK that is producing this "valve" allready.

Any ideas???

I'm not sure where you're reading all this info on the boards, but you need to look again. That statement is completely false.

BUT, if you're looking to have a smaller pulley for more boost down low, but you don't want the effects of the pulley higher in the rev range, you might want to look into an HKS racing bypass valve.

I've read it acts as a blow off valve until a certain boost level is reached, then bleeds off excess boost to keep it at the desired level.

You should post this in the UK Forum. But there isn't many S2000 SC in Uk (less than 5) but who Knows? THE AEM EMS is made there

You've double posted in the Technical forum. I've merged the response on the other thread. No need to post in 2 forums the same question.

Has anyone done this before? And please show me how wrong I am on a dyno..all the dynos I have stored in my PC from this forum show the same result..0-4000rpm no gain at all, and than from 7-9000rpm a huge jump in power.Have a look at the Ultimate Racing dyno that compares the kit with the 2 superchargers...

I don't know of any S2000 people using one yet but I know the NSX guys have experimented with them.

And I'm not gioing to argue the 0-4000rpm thing with you. We'll just go in circles. Your best bet, if you're going to get a supercharger anyway, is to try it before you try to upgrade anything. You may be pleasantly surprised.

It's ironic that you've done all the NA mods (I'm assuming intake, header and exhaust) which increase performance about as much as F all (and cost almost as much as a supercharger), yet you're skeptical about a blower that significantly increases hp and torque across the entire powerband. ? ? ? ?

IMO If you get the power any sooner, you might have issues hooking up and braking things. Or at least thats one of the reason I went with the CTSC. The power is there when you need it but not if you don't.
