I am at 7pounds and mid 350rwhp. I will max out the Vortech this winter, and my tuner states I will be less then 450rwhp. If that does not satisfy my needs or wants (better language), I will upgrade to a turbo. Know, more or less what your final product will be close to, before, you begin your endeavor.
