I tried Jet-Hot on my S2000 parts and it failed QUICKLY. I never tried Swain Tech on my S2000 parts, but have it on my Evo and it has performed flawlessly! Almost 15k miles and it looks close to new (slight discoloration). Swain Tech is the real deal. It almost looks like sand paper. One of the nice things about it is that you can paint over it if you'd like.

hmmm I hear good things and band things about both, what I like about Jethot2000 is they coat the inside which will definatgely help keep the metal cooler

As far as the turbo housing I will not be coating that, just using a turbo blanket

My manifold was coated with JetHot2000 (silver/chrome looking). It held up for about 2 years, and was still in good condition when I traded the car. It does start to look kinda grimy if you get really ANYTHING on it, though... Just bakes onto it. Never had any issues with it, though. My manifold as well as IC pipes were all coated.

Also, FWIW, my header was within 1/8-1/4" of the passenger side motor mount (2 piece EL manifold/up pipe), and I never had any issues with it melting or anything...

Here is what it looked like new... Coated inside and out.

After about 2 years... Notice the burnt/brownish look? Its just random oils from hands / road grime that have baked onto the finish. The material was NOT worn down at all. The hot-side of the turbo was also coated...

Also, FWIW, the 2010 ZondaR uses SwainTech on its header. Inside and out. You can apparently grab the header (after a hard drive) with only 2-3 minutes of cool down time (or so the guy at the Zonda factory said).

I think I am leaning towards Jethot, I think I like the face they coat the inside as well, I also like I can do it in black. There is also places in NJ that do it, hopefully they are reputable, I will go to one of their "premier" recommended shops.

You're concern with them coating the inside is imperfections and a decrease in air flow.

is that an option, I guess I can always request just the outside. The issue is, like everything in life their is always a side effect, and in this case the heat has to go somewhere, so it stays inside the manifold which can't be good, but I guess its better than melting stuff. Either way I will have the Fuse Box and Battery safely hidden away

The coating jet hot puts on the inside of the manifold runners is smooth, not rough like the outside. I believe they polish the inside after they coat it to not effect the flow. Thats how mine is anyway. You can ask them what they do to insure the inside stays smooth after the coating is applied to it.
