i have the comptech w/ AC on my car right now, and i like how everything is except that the blower is a bit noisy. i had the vortech SQ on my mustang before, and it is really quiet in comparison to the paxton novi 1000.

now my questions is: anyone ever swap the novi 1000 for the SQ blower? if so, will the rest of the comptech kit work with the vortech SQ? any complications or potential hazards?

 

The fitment is totally different. You will probably need a Vortech kit to utilize the Vortech pump. I have never seen this attempted or discussed on the board.

The bracketry is completely different. You might as well buy a complete Vortech kit, as the 2 units are completely different.

 

The question I want to know is has anyone swapped a Novi 1200/1500 into a Comptech SC. Yes, I know one of us has a Novi 2000. Maybe I'll be the first and try.
