May possible have a shot at low mileage ap2 motor and tranny its unfortunately Dbw. I figured I'd have to swap the ecu but would I need the whole PCM harness? Anyone who has experience please let me know. Interested to see what it will take

 

I have converted an 06 DBW motor to normal throttle body & installed in my AP1
took about 3-4 hours with both engines on stands

just doing some searches and i came across this post. I to am considering an 06 ap2 swap into my ap1. What is involved. I understand there are some sensors and intake manifold, valve cover and throttle body need to be changed. Do you think just swapping the ap1 head onto the 06 f22 block will make it easier.
