Default Switchable boost levels with AEM EMS

I have a GT3071R turbo w/Tial wastegate, AEM EMS with GM boost control solenoid.

I can set the EMS to control the solenoid to cap boost at between 6 (spring) and 23psi.

What I want to know is if I can can two settings (say, 15 and 22psi) and use switch connected to the EMS to trigger the limits.

Anyone know if this is possible?

Yes it is possible, I had had a low and hi boost setting from a simple switch previously on my old AEM

Kinda interested in how you set it up.

What were your boost settings? Was low spring?

I had a 1.1 bar spring in a tial 38mm wastegate, hi boost was 1.3 bar and low was 1.1bar and was also running a GM solenoid like yours.

Its been almost 2 years since I converted to Kpro, but I can dig up my old map if you want and can email it to you--just pm me your address. The setup is in there, just can't help you with which PWM output used but its definately possible.

here is a good old link I had that may help

i have set this many times, i would do a waste gate sprint .9 bars for daily driving and then thru the ems, and a switch, goto 20 psi, this way if there is a problem it will default back and wastegate spring will only allow .9 (13.5-14psi) typically on a inline pro log maifold with my modd to a gt35r, daily driven is 400 whp, and a flick of the switch it is 500.

Sorry to bring this tread back to life. I used the search function before starting a new thread and found this.

I have the AEM Boost Control Solenoid w/ out the gauge along w/ the AEM EMS V2.

My boost is currently controlled by the EMS @ 14psi.

I also want to have a switchable boost level.

From the AEM Boost Control Solenoid in the engine bay I traced the wires thru the firewall and one wire went to the fuse box above the ECU and the other wire went into EMS Connector D16 --- PW 2 Output Avail, Boost Solenoid Output.

If I disconnect that wire does it cut off the Electric Boost Control which is set @ 14psi via EMS and drops the boost down to my 10psi wastegate spring?

If that is the case, do I just wire a switch from that wire so I can make the boost switchable from wastegate 10psi to 14psi?

Also, if possible I want switchable boost levels from wastegate 10 psi / low boost 12 psi / high boost 14 psi. How can I make this possible?

Thanks in advance!
