Synapse Bov on Comptech SC
i have this bov on my ctsc.
what i did was i bought the optional synapse audi/vw 1" tube flange and used a cut piece of the tubing that originally went into the bosch bypass valve along with some hose clamps to attach it to the aftercooler. not as nice as having it welded on, but i still think it looks clean. plus you have a little more adjustment w/ positioning that way.
one thing though, if you do decide to have it welded on, make sure you get the aluminum weld on flange instead of using the s.s. one that the kit comes w/. i've heard of ppl having trouble w/ welds breaking when using the s.s. flange to our aluminum aftercoolers.
and i don't know if the filter is really necessary for this. when at idle, air is always blowing out, and when under throttle, the bov closes, so i don't think there is any point where air would have a chance to come in. it prob couldn't hurt though if you're worried about it.
