Thumbs up T/C or S/C?

I'm getting ready to do some things to my '07 for much more power.Wanted to get some input on going with a turbo or supercharger.I want to get into the 11's yet still have a reliable car I can drive across country in.I don't plan on taking it to the strip much but I still want the power if I need it.At the same time I want to still get decent mpg too. What advice do you guys have? Also, is the '07 a good year to modify since it has the different throttle set-up or should I sell it and get an '04-'06?

If you can find a HKS F con tuner in your area, any of the existing kits can be used.

you can get the KraftWerks Supercharger High boost setup @ 10psi and be good for about 360-380whp and be dead reliable. You'll neeed to upgrade your clutch and thats it.

LOL !!! I love these posts " I want to be in the 11's yet still have a reliable car I can drive across country in " Seriously bro you want an 11 sec reliable car I suggest you sell the S2K and buy something else.

Putting that aside if you want to be in the 11's your only option would be turbo. But you have the DBW system. So that means your not going to be able to reach that goal. However you could go with the Kraftwerks kit there are some guys getting into the mid 12's. But here is where I say GOOD LUCK BRUVA I have a close friend of mine who has been trying to get his hands on a kit. To make a long story short there are issues with the DBW & Hondata but he isn't getting any of his PM's or Emails answered for the Kraftwerks guys.

So I guess I'm telling you to sell the car and get an 05 or earlier and good luck with what ever you decide

What issues? I havnt heard of any issues with the DBW and hondata reflash. (or are you talking about the upcoming Hondata Stand alone for DBW?)

Your 07 is just fine is you want a reliable f/i car. its just that your options are limited until a stand alone EMS comes out. Right now the KW S/C will get you to mid 12s even with the oem exhaust and header.

If your dead set on 11s then maybe a 04 or older s2k would be a better choice since you'll be able to go Full race or inline pro and run 20+ psi and put down 400-500whp with a light wallet.

SC definitely has a better track record for reliability, but even with SC setups you are bound to run in to issues eventually. KW seems dead reliable so far based on what i've read
