Default TB bypass hondata gasket

So I've been expierencing some surging at Idle after the hondata install and bypassing the coolant lines on the TB. After much hunting for air leaks we came to the conclusion that its coolant flow next to the Idle bypass circut.

How it is currently routed is the coolant goes from A to B to C to D then is blocked off before the TB. This weekend im going to try and route from A-E totally bypassing the Idle circut hopefully this will end the idle surging. How are all you guys bypassing the coolant to the TB? And has this happend to you?

thanks

didn't you just post about changing your tb recently? i'd probably point the finger at a butterfly valve that doesn't fit properly or isn't adjusted properly first... that is if, after you changed the tb, this problem started.

Did you bleed the cooling system properly, air pockets anywhere in the system will cause a surging idle. I would double check the hondata gasket for leaks with carb cleaner and check all the other vacuum lines while your at it.
The routing of the coolant lines nor air pockets will not have an effect on the operation of the idle control valve. The coolant passage is only there to prevent the iac valve from freezing in colder temperatures.

just route it from A to E. that is what I did after intalling my IMG gasket, it keeps the throttle body way cooler. also if you did take the IAC off the gasket is kinda tricky to get to re-seal.....

I have run with coolant from A- E for years. great mod IMO. you can even cut the hardlines back on the IAC for a much cleaner look.
