Haha actually I did at first, but figured it out when the cover came off . But after that I removed the correct bolts and put the cover back on. While doing tightening the bolts that are on the cover the tct moved ever so slightly clockwise...

That being said: how much in the terms of effort should I be prying this thing. I really don't want to break anything.

^Theres nothing to break as long as you removed the 2 bolts. Hold the tct with your other hand because its going to come flying out more than likely in several pieces so just be aware and get ready to catch them. Just give it a go theres nothing to break really, if you start gouging the aluminum then maybe find another way to pry but for the most part theres nothing to wreck.

Great Success! Got it out with some vice grips... I know its sloppy, but it worked. I'll go to the engine shop tomorrow. Do I have to change the oil right away, or can it wait a day as I need to figure out what filter I need.

Oil change is not a big deal right now. It takes a relatively long time before the TCT wears out from crappy oil.

Your going to have to wind the TCT back up, maybe get your machine shop to do it for you. But take a look at the end and you will see a spot you can fit a paper clip through. Cut a paperclip into a L shape but make sure its on the side facing the service hole so you can grab it with needle nose and pull it out once installed.

You can try winding it with a bolt but I always found that to be a pain in the ass and my bolt always got stuck in the TCT

Hes a pretty nice guy, and I am sure he would reassemble it for me. I thought you didn't have to do anything with the service hole if you were just repairing it. Am I wrong?

You don't need the service hole if you replace it with the bolt, as outlined in the TCT DIY for superchargers. It is in the FI section.

Ok when I went to "pop" the tct in it never popped. It bolted down just fine tho. And I also didn't feel the piston move when I unscrewed the bolt. Is this normal? Going to have my brother watch the engine as I crank it to check for a leak or if it didn't fix my problem. Any ideas?

look in the service hole and you can see if it popped into place or not. If you did the screw method it should gradually slide back

Oh ok. I was thinking that it was kind of like when they stick you with a needle and the thing is spring loaded... Oh and with the way my car is setup you can't really look through the service hole unless you start taking stuff out. I'm going to check it out in about 10 min. I'll let you guys know what happens. This has been a pita for me... It wouldn't have been too bad if I was in a heated garage. Windy as hell out here.
