you didn't go all the way to 9200 rpm on J's FX 70RR test.....that's why it reads low what's up with this ? 70mm still best for SC's guys.

Auriel,

no head gasket this time for now. On a sc I wouldn't go with a full 3mm anyway, probably just a 2mm since boost levels won't be higher than 15-16psi anyway.

I'm shooting for like 375whp @ 10 psi on the new 1220 sl blower. Well see what happens - I'm still hung up in exhausts.

ahhh well done

now you've thrown me another curveball - i've never heard of anybody using 3M adhesive to prevent slippage. where do you apply it, and how long does it last before it needs to be re-applied?

all this being said, are you going to stay with your tanabe exhaust, or are you now going to experiment with various 63mm setups? also, what test pipe/cat setup did you run with the tanabe?

keep the info flowing - my supercharger is in the mail and i'd loved to be well educated before it gets here.

This is my miracle formula !
I have told some guys about it in the forums but they all laughed at me
I Did some molecular research on what type of bonding occurs when 3M formula is applied to rubberized car belts. I found that when the the belt get warm (as the friction increased) 3M's molecules bond closer together and the main epoxy molecule reconforms into another less stable state thus getting more sticky.

Belt wise I'm using the cheap Pep boys $10 ones.

How long it last depends on how much you drive the car. For me every 500 miles seems to do the trick.

On testing more exhaust, I think ill stay with the Tenabe dual since it gave me the best hp/tq and its very quiet. But, I might even do a oem just for fun (I don't like oem though) too big and bulky.

Very interested in your cooling setup. Or if you have a link to where you saw this info, it would be very appreciated!

so what about the fact that the power was dropping off at that point? The HP # was not going to climb anymore. I believe there is sufficient evidence in this thread to completely discredit what you just said.
they've let go the gas pedal sooner. i don't know i'm still not convince that a 63mm is better thatn 70mm.

Hmmm, I wonder what the ideal setup would be?

J's header to J's 60RR?
