Default Test a used AEM v2 with laptop?
Good morning. Is it possible to test a used AEM v2 without my S present? I see a used one on CL and I'd like to be sure it works first.

Ideas? Plug into laptop?

No. To use the end or to even load maps the ecu must be plugged into the car.

How about hook up the power and ground pins to a separate car battery and plug usb into laptop? Will a good ECU show something in the AEM software?
