Default thicker head gaskets

im just wondering how many boosted members have a thicker head gasket. from what i understand it will lower your c/r so youll need more boost to get the same results with the stock c/r but it will be safer. do you think id need one running 10 psi and under?

u dont need one period.. stock compression is just fine, just less room for error.. especially at 10psi and lower, but it all depends on the tuner

no not needed, you will be fine at 10 psi and lower. (considering a good tune).I'm at 12 psi and stock compression.

U can make 600whp on a stock head gasket. 10 psi doesnt really mean much, what turbo are u goin with? How much power do u wanna make?

I would say rule of thumb 10psi no HG
12-14 PSI no HG but use meth injection
over 14psi I would use a HG 2mm to 3mm depending on the amout of boost, HP goal and set up and tuner EMS

This IMO

I have a great idea...try the search button. This topic has been discuessed OVER AND OVER...dont make a new thread about it. You can find plenty of info by simply typing your thread title into search.

Well you didnt search good enough. There are like 5 threads about this on the first page. Dont mean to be a dick, its annoying seeing the same stuff over and over again.
