What 8:1 Compression Pistons Look Like
Heh heh, you never know what's in the works.. but I am learning how to weld
I can sell these pistons if you wish to buy them, they are a custom design, they take about 3-4 weeks to make. The design is based off of the stock head with stock head gasket, using stock rods (sizes, not necessary stock parts.)

Yep, my first concern was BOOOST .... lag
One of the things (in my head anyways) that made the Turbo S2K with stock internals so awesome was there seemed like no boost lag.. with more reliance on the turbo and less on the engine for power there may be more boost lag. However I didn't notice any difference from 10.2:1 from 11:1 so maybe I am on crack...

forgive my ignorance, but how can new pistons alone drop the compression so much? 8:1 is a big drop from stock isn't it? If everything works out, how much boost do you want to be able to run on pump gas? Thanks

Changing compression is almost always done with pistons alone. Other ways to change compression include changing the head gasket (increase slightly, or decrease alot), and welding the chamber on the head. (increase only)
