[QUOTE=Revenge,Oct 21 2010, 09:28 AM] Yeah, I agree with McLovin, don't change stuff just to change it, the pfab log is fine.

^why are you so set on an afi manifold???

buy a mase manifold or something. or hell, stick with your pfab log and make your goal with 9-11 psi.

i dont see why you need a different one other than it will look cooler? if you have one that will do exactly what you want, why change it?
The manifold I have now made 360 on 13 PSI, obviously something in my setup is faulty. Why keep my manifold when I can buy a better one and have better results?

I agree, I still don't really see what's wrong with the car in the first place.

the manifold, turbo, turbo piping, downpipe, exhaust, injectors and tune may have made 360 on 13 psi, but you don't need to change all of those to make more power

MCB, if it is an true Ebay turbo then I would probaly go ahead and change it out. And I guess if you want more power down the road and need a new turbo then you should just buy one that will mate to the manifold of your choice.

With that said, there is not a whole lot wrong with using a pfab log, just getting a new 60-1 gt30/35 5857/6265 BB only. And calling it a day, way less fabrication and costs of other parts. If you want a bit more power you could use e85 or meth. If it were me, I would get a 60-1 or gt3076 and bolt it on get a good tune and have some fun.

Good luck with your build.

"AFI" sounds cooler than "log"?

Log sounds like something you deposit in a toilet.

a shitty turbo is like a shitty manifold, no amount of tuning can fix it or make good numbers. get a new turbo and injectors and a tune. thats really all you need. possibly a new dp for the turbo.

as for name whoring, who gives a shit what its called. if youre making power and beating most cars; you can call it a lollipop mani for all i care.

Wouldn't hurt to invest tho. I have two cars so I have time to save money and build the car properly.

thats the thing. a log is a "proper" mani for those goals. you dont need a big ELT mani for a t3 60-1 to flow some air. if you're going with a ELT, buy a t4 gt30R. other than that, stick with your mani and follow along the path i listed above to get to your 400whp mark.

400 is my minimum goal. If I can get 500 with an full race kit, mase kit or afi mani I'd rather do that all in one shot. I'd also like to stay under 13 psi till I get pistons.
