alright. I wasn't going to purchase a kit right away but then a chain of good things happened. Including my new job and for once an excess supply of good SC kits on the market driving the price down. I was able to buy one from a member on the site although it will be awhile before I get it because they are waiting on the stock pulley to come in the mail.

Anyway I have basically a full comptech kit + an 8psi pulley along with a tapped crank pulley I believe. I will probably be happy with the stock boost for awhile, as I said I am not looking for insane power and the car already scares the shit out of me half the time. I got the comptech because it seemed to be the easiest kit to install and best kit for someone who doesn't have much experience under the hood.

Anyway I guess I had a few questions.

1) how much RWHP would u estimate I would make at stock boost with the comptech kit? the only mods I have are a comptech exhaust. Should help a little I guess. I don't really care much about the power just want some idea 240WHP? 300WHP?

2) I was also thinking about buying a BOV. I heard you can get them for SCs. I know it wont do anything but I would pay a few hundred for the sound. (you can give me crap I don't care. If I make the car go faster I expect it to sound faster.)

3) I was just going to get the wideband gauge and a boost gauge. Are glowshift gauges good? I want something that looks good and does the job. Also where should I buy a pod? I was looking to get a pillar pod.

4) anything else I need besides the pump? I wasn't going to get the clutch until I need it or want more boost

thanks for all the help so far. I probably wouldn't have bought a kit if it wasn't for everyone's helpful input.
