S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Thinking about going turbo.

I disagree. Check out this comparison:

My car: GT3076RB @ ~18-19 psi
Kleeckers car: GT35R @ 18 psi

Same turbo kit, same tuner, same dyno, same exhaust.

Both cars could desperately use a more open exhaust. At these flow rates, you can tell that my turbo is closer to it's maximum operating range and the exhaust has a bigger impact on it's performance. Note that at these similar boost levels, the GT3076 makes more power EVERYWHERE in the RPM range below 8,300 RPM. How often do you drive between 8,300 and 9,100 RPM?

The GT3076 has between 50 and 80 addition rwhp between 4,000 and 7,000 RPM. Granted I am boosting about 1 more psi, but even if I lowered that, I'd still be higher through the majority of the powerband.

Now once you get up to the 450+ rwhp range, you would see the GT35R start to dominate. But certainly not for for 400+. For this power level on this turbo kit, GT3076 is the better choice.
Depends on what floats your boat

I like having a linear build up of torque as my RPMs increase instead of having a lot of downlow grunt with it tapering off. It makes the car feel faster as RPMs climb.

Plus (IMO), nothing beats the sound of a GT35R spool up. But thats just me

Its win win either way.

Well, the tapering is due to the exhaust...but the boost builds in a very linear fashion. Probably even more so than a GT35.

I agree it's win win either way. When it all boils down...it just depends on what kind of numbers you want to reach and how to want to reach them.

Win win for sure

hahaha. The other day I finally grew a pair and decided to test out the torque in this monster; did my first burn out.

....I'm again scared to drive the car
I went home for lunch today and decided to take the car out to go back to work and on the quick little ride it was the most comfortable i felt with the car since i got it F/I'd. Getting sideways in 2nd gear up the road it just felt oh so good and so predictable, and when you finally got traction you rocketed up the road. I love it. Guedo, you will love boost

In all honesty, the car still scares the piss outta me when I give it full throttle. Once I'm in 3rd gear hitting vtec I start to get mild tunnel vision.

Crappy thing is, as much as it scares me, its just so addicting! DAMNIT!

how much would it cost to build a conservative 350hp turbo S2k? Reliable as well.

Your looking at atleast ~6k and more depending on options. It also depends on if you plan on doing the install yourself or not.

Frank, best of luck with whatever you decide to go with, but I hope you realize just how much power 480whp is?!? That is an insane amount of power for a car on the street. I was able to whoop just about anything that I ran into on the street, and have plenty of fun with 350whp. 400whp would have been even more fun, but when you start to go above 350whp you no longer get the same kind of traction that you once had (I had ZERO traction issues, could floor it in any gear at any RPM and it would just go where I lost no time spinning my tires). Just some food for thought.
