thinking of boosting again
i used to have the inline pro top mount tubular manifold with a sc-61 and had troubles with my previous p-fab tubular mani cracking. then the turbo took a crap on me so i just decided to sell the kit. lately ive been looking at some log manifolds like the cheap but strong godspeed because they are cheap and strong. you can port it and heat coat it without worrying about cracking. at least from my experience, i used to have a BLOX log mani on my b16 and had quick spool, great midrange, and no problems. i know the logs wont make the power of a tubular but im only looking for a nice solid 400hp street car. ive been looking at the 6262 and the 5558. i dont want to do anything to the frame to get the turbo to fit. would the 6262 fit with no issues or just stick with the 5558 for super quick spool and plenty of clearance. i MAY decide to get a race gas tune aiming for 500hp area evenutally but is not my first priority. also would the pfab greddy replacement manifold flow any better then a godspeed manifold?
sorry for rambling my thoughts off but please let me know your thoughts and suggestions on my thought
THANKS GUYS!!!

Please guys, at least let me know if the 6262 will fit without hitting the frame. Thanks. Not sure if it's worth getting that size over the 5558 since I'm not looking to make 600 hp. Thanks guys let me hear your wise words
For a log I like the pfab personally. Top mount looks better, easier to work on, and turbo fitment problems are basically nonexistant. The downside is obviously heat management, moving fusebox, ac lines, etc. None of which are really a big deal. No frame cutting or notching either with the topmount. It has worked well on my car, though if you get bitten by the power bug, which we all have been, your gonna be wanting the equal length mani again before you know it. If your gonna log it though pfab, or fullblown topmount gets my vote.

BTW, thanks for the input!
Question of the day is whether or not the 6262 will fit or if t the sane i should go with a 5558 which should satisfy 400-500hp.o which I have the BC stage2 na cams which should help to make more power than the ap2 cams
^^^DECEPTION
-did that turbo hit the frame when the motor mounts flexed from torque? was it the billet version? i know they make the 5858 billet version but im assuming they would be the same size. what was your hp/psi #'s and were you running 3" DP and exhaust? thanks for the response, i appreciate it
