Thinking of a small nitrous setup
Hey guys. I plan on boosting my car down the road, however my focus is on handling and I have been spending all my money on the suspension/interior and brakes. I would like an easy cheaper solution to get some more power. I've read many threads about nitrous and can't seem to find a clear answer. I would like run a 40-75 shot. If I decided to run a 50 shot dry kit, what other accessories would I need? At what point do you need a tuning solution? Just looking for simple answers.

^answered a lot of my questions. In a short, can I install a 75 DRY shot and my ap2 and run it on stock fuel pump and stock engine management? Basically bolt the thing on, change plugs and run it? The factory ecu will take control of afr's?

i was looking a goin with a dry shot too but i asked a guy with a 75 wet shot of nitrous on his stang and he said he didnt go dry cause a dry 75 shot is like having a 150 to 200 wet shot and would have blew apart his engine...... i dont know how true that is but keep searching and im pretty someone can help u...

i wouldnt go past a 100 dry shot. AND BE VERY CAREFUL WITH SPARK PLUG SELECTION.
one thing i would def do, if you go 75 to 100 shot, get a bottle warmer, or car will get slower each time you spray. also, a 100 shot will last about 3-4 long pulls maybe more with a bottle warmer, ie track runs or 2-5 gear races. my buddy had a 100 shot dry on his vr6 and we raced a srt4. first run, we pull away, second run, even, third run, fall behind a bit. no bottle warmer
u will be fine with stock everytyhing plus the kit. 50 shot wil llast pretty long too. problem is, if you get addicted to it, which most do, 40 dollar fills of the bottle hurt in the long run

oh, and DEF dont huff it. sulfur = throw up, and even less nitrous for the car ROFL.
Sounds good. I think I understand how it works now by studying one of the NOS diagrams and wiring charts, however I don't think DRY shots have selectable pills? It just raises the fuel pressure and the factory ecu see's the cold intake temp/afr's and tells the injectors to push more fuel. (now it can successfully do that because of the raised fuel pressure.)

page 11 in that intruction manual shows it called a nitrous bypass pill, but its in line wiht the vacuum line for hte FPR.

also, when you up the shot on a dry system, u have to pick the correct fuel pill as well, so fuel rises in addition.
i think you should read very carefully what this does, as one mistake = powned motor.
