Default Thoughts/Opinions

I recently just bought an S with a SOS superchager stage 1. It isn't making much power only 280whp which is fine for the time being. The question I have is if I'm seeking 400whp plus should I just upgrade the SC which would be a cheaper route or go with a turbo application. I know for another 2 grand I could be what SOS calls a stage 2. For a turbo route it would probably run me about 8 grand for a maze kit. So the question I have is should I just upgrade the supercharger or go with a maze kit? Also the major problem I have from research is it doesn't seem like this SOS can make much past 380 but correct me if I'm wrong.

Thanks,
Elliott

fuel the best I can get is 92. For the blower it is a 1220 non SL. Noob here can you explain the difference from the 1200 and 1220 and also the difference between SL and non SL?

The 1200 is the same compressor as the 1220, but it has a different impeller that moves more cfm to make more power. You can upgrade yours to a 1200 through a couple of different routes for a few hundred dollars. I made 421whp on pump 93 with my AP1 running a 1200 at 15.5psi. So you can definitely hit 400, and it's a HUGE difference compared to what you've got now.

If you like your SC setup but just want more, I'd say do the stage 2 upgrade and you'll be happy.

Thanks a lot that has made my decesion a lot more easier. How much would it cost to upgrade to the stage 2. I'm thinking just hondata, bigger injectors, and 1200 blower.

Nah I've got a million things going on. If I get this job my commute is going to suck, so I may actually sell my s2k because I know I won't feel like driving anymore than necessary.

Bittersweet but I can't pass on the money
