Default Tial 50mm wastegate

Anyone running your wastgate without water cooling. I've been running it a couple of months without water cooling. Pang from pfab said water cooling is not needed for operation. What do you guys think?

Some tials (mvs/mvr) do (maybe some others as well).

I have never ran coolant through mine. Road racers may benefit from it, but I probably wouldn't.

first of all tial does not make a 50mm wastegate. They do make a 50mm blow of valve. The new generation of tial 38 and 44mm wategates called the mvs and mvr which are also the 2 most comming wategates that most people use do have water ports for cooling. Tial state that the water cooler feature is not needed for a street car. Personally i have been running the tial 44mm mvr in all my cars for many many years for tens of thousands of miles and have never bother to use the water cooling feature and have never had any issues. But then again i dont road race or track any of my cars. I would spend the extra energy and time to run the water cooler to the wastegate if i did a lot of track time.
