S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

Time to ask about 700whp and the tranny.

An alternative to putting new gears into a stock box is fitting a whole new gearbox. Many people have replaced the standard differential with other units. I would suggest putting in a hewland, quaife or xtrac 6 speed sequential dog box. That way you are using a box that was designed with motorsport and servicability in mind, and spare parts should be available on the shelf.

You may find that with the power you are using the gears are undersized and therefore overloaded at the torque you are running. If the gears are too small/narrow, even very tricky metallurgy wont help for long. In many race cars the gears have to be lifed and replaced after so many km or race starts. In my F3 car the hewland second gears have to be replaced every two race meetings, or cracktested after every race meeting to monitor cracking.

700 rwp is big ask for even a beefed up stock box.

The hewland ICT or SGT boxes would be a good starting point.

Simon, you are getting silly and off topic there. I don't think there is much more to discuss about the input shaft and warranty. I believe I said I don't care about the warranty in Jan 2006. So be reasonable and stop your game.

Sorry Mr. "I am a Doctor, you're not.." but your implied hard done by points seem to be contradicted by instances posted by yourself in quotes from your posts...such as ....."Sorry I am not on here to give bias advice"..........sorry mate, but a reference to Simon being a Dickhead after a business dealing with him is nothing but complete BIAS...maybe you have not got a good ENGLISH dictionary..and your attitude certainly reflects that you feel your occupation elevates you beyond those "industrialised".. those you seem to serve in your profession..

The issue is that Honda doesn't sell the synchro rings without the matching gearset.

So 1 syncho ring being hosed costs you a 1-2, 3-4 or 5-6 gear set.

Some of the replacement synchro's sold for other models not originally equipped with carbon coated synchro's are now coming with them. I've got a spare trans with a hosed 2nd gear and 5-6 synchro. As soon as I rebuild it i'll let you know if the replacement parts are carbon equipped.
It would be nice to see some sort of improvement over their older syncros because they just cant take a major beating like most of us would like them to.

If that's what you think then you are incorrect about me! Stop these BS on this thread and keep it on topic and give me a call if you have any issue.
