Default Time for an oil catch can..

Okay, i took my oil cap off the other day with the car running and the amount of pressure pumping out of there is downright rediculous and I dont feel comfortable with it so I plan on adding a T1 6 port catch can to my setup.. 4 bungs off the valve cover into the top of the can and two bungs from the bottom returning to the block.. now my question is on the B series hondas there are two plugs in the block that can be removed and made into -AN fittings with a special fitting.. does that S2k have this? or would having two bungs welded to my oil pan be the best option? I am not going to tap the girdle as oil slosh wont be a problem becuase there is no immediate need to continuously drain like there is for a turbo...

Comments would be nice!

I dont know if it would be wise to run the drain from the catch can back to the engine because most of the time, what comes out of the engine in the form of vapor that the catch can catches is a lot of water vapor from the fuel mixed with the oil. I wouldnt want that going back into my engine and have to worry if the filter will pick it up in time before it gets circulated throughout the engine or not. Just let the catch can grab all the oil and fuel vapors and empty it out once a year. I checked my catch can after about 3 months of fairly hard driving and I literally only had one drop of water/oil come out of it just so you know.

If you are sure you want the catch can drain going back to the engine, just T'ing the lines into the oil drain on the turbo should work out ok if your turbo oil drain is in a good spot like the girdle. I dont think the F20c and F22c block has a open usable port on it like the B series, but I could be wrong.

yea I am tapped into my girdle.. didnt think about Ting it.. or about the vapor stuff.. I remember my can on my tiburon used to have some real nasty stuff in it, but why do all the other hondas run it this way with the return? and as far as I know Tony always uses a return..

That's way overkill. 2 x -12an 's off the IM plumbed into a vented can is sufficient for most setups.

If the pressure coming out your oil cap is more than usual then I would look into possible engine problems.
