Have you thought about looking for stuff like the EMS used? You can get a lot of that for much less. You can get injectors for 275 or so, EMS for 1k or the UEGO one for 1200, clutch install should only be like 300 if you can find a mechanic to do it in his off time... My total cost of everything is turning out to be right around 7K because I bought stuff used. Just something to think about.

As for your boost level, that kit is going to make around 400hp on 9 - 9.5 pounds. If you're spending the money on the headgasket, you could easily have a couple boost levels (one much higher than your projected 13) for those nasty Z06 encounters At roughly 11 pounds with 9:1 comp, you'll only be making roughly the same power you were at stock comp and 9 pounds. That's why you might want to have a few maps to switch from.

If you got a boost controller, you could switch maps on the fly. My setup will be running a 10 and 15 lb. tune for example and I can switch with the manual boost controller.

With over 400 whp you are definitely going to want to do the Diff conversion or pay for it later when you blow the stocker. It'll run you around $2800 now or $3800 later when you break the stocker and can't sell it and decide to go with the R200 by then.

I'll press my luck with the diff conversion. I know that I will need it, but I won't be drag racing with the car, so I don't think that it will be too bad. I know that it's the weak point of the car.

Thanks everyone so far for all of the comments!

If you break the diff... there are 500 dollar ones in the FS section all the time

That's 6 diffs for the price of the conversion kit...

Im trying to figure out the big stuff before I worry about the tune. I would like to get tuned by Shawn Church, but I don't want to go to SoCal and be at lower elevation. We shall see.

I am running with the stock regulator for fuel with no problems of delivery all the way to 29psi.

Thanks. We spoke awhile back. I had my first S2000 in SEMA the same year as you. on the nice set-up. Geoff suggested a similar set-up to yours for me.

Do you also still have the stock map sensor? Thanks a lot!

A FPR is a must if say..........You want to stay with 750cc injectors and not have to wire in a resistor box and on 46 psi fuel pressure you run out of injector with a duty cycle of 90% and want more power. This is where you can turn the fuel pressure up and get more out of the injector and keep it at or even lower the duty cycle on the injector.

Plus I'm not positive but I don't think the stock FPR is a 1:1. Meaning, for every psi of boost it raises the fuel pressure 1 psi.

You have to get a MAP sensor and wire it in if you go over 10 psi. My stock MAP starts to break up just past 9.8 psi and isn't very stable so I'll be putting my AEM 3.5 on when I do my retune on 18 psi on pump gas.
