However, I guess I'll go out on the limb and say I doubt the diff locked up. Just sounds like loosing traction (don't need to be going WOT for that to happen) and just couldn't correct it. Plus as you said, the more power = the more dangerous the car is as you now know.
Yeah I am interested to hear what it turns out to be. I don't have anywhere near as much power as half the people in FI, but yesterday doing about 30 I nailed the gas in second and the car spun the wheels hard and gave me some wheel hop and started to slide the tail out. Never done that before but it was only about 50 degrees outside and just a cool temp made all the difference in something that would have been uneventful on any summer day. I was going straight, had been driving for 25 minutes so the tires were not early morning cold, and just have the out of the box SOT roots kit.

With way more power than I have, I bet it is extremely easy to get situations where the car just loses traction. I have half the HP you do.

Oh yeah, and glad you came out in one piece.

it was brutal... these cars are unpredictable, the more power the more higher the risk could be for something to go wrong. I mean like... if we were already breaking our rear ends at stock hp levels. Sh!T!!! what about 3x that power? A few times i've thought about my whole rear end just falling off from flooring it down the street or any situation were im going WOT.

I just got the car in the garage today. Tomorrow im gonna go to my neighbors house and get some jack stands and inspect everything. My left tire/wheel came off today. the only thing left attached is the break line this was on the tow truck on the way home...it fell off in the street hahaha
