From what I have learned the cooling of the motor and turbo become the biggest problems with track time. I have added an Earl's oil cooler and will be upgrading the radiator along with the heat shielding. I wold assume the oil cooler and radiator is a must for tracking the "S",,well just about any car.

yeah even on NA car, a oil cooler will help and upgrade radiator also.

I'm going with the C&R Racing (now Visteon) radiator, with ceramic coatings on the manifold and turbine housing. When I get around to it I plan to add some aluminum heat shielding because intake temperature was at 160degrees during the Fall dyno day. As for the oil, I plan to let the stock oil cooler take care of that while I log temperatures. If they are getting too high, I will add a thermostat and oil cooler.

BTW... Hyori can make anything too hot!

I have 4 track days on my s2000, roughly 400 track miles. Make sure you have a good radiator, good oil PSI guage, oil temp and oil cooler will not hurt either!
engine has 40,000 miles, 20,000 of which were under boost and had seen the track abuse. Car ran fine and ran circles around most other cars, including holding up to a Viper with double the WHP at 660whp.
