you could make a lot of tranny's fit with custom adapter plates.

I think you are confusing between gearbox and diff ratio. The s2k oem diff ratio is 4.1:1. Nissan has a couple of variable to this. I think I have a 4.37:1 ratio (or somewhere around there) in my nissan diff.

It will be good if someone can come up with an adaptor plate for a supra box. There are so many of them around and they are mighty strong. Not only that they are so cheap. If any gearbox part fail you just get a reconditioned box and slap it back in. If ppg part breaks

I have a nissan skyline r33 gearbox in mine everything seems to fit into the stock location. I just needed to modify the bellhouse, mount, custom flywheel and a custom driveshaft.

No prob buddy

The car is on a hoist at home atm because I have to change the gearbox mount. The gearbox had a modified honda gbox mount and there was too much movement. I found it difficult to shift gear quickly between 1st and 2nd. It has dog helical gears so the timing for shifting is crucial.

So pics shouldn't be any problem. Do you have any specific angle you like to see?

I actually had this for 5 years aldready. I am surprise that no one else has investigate something like this....actually I saw ?c-west put the same gearbox in the S2k about 3-4 years ago. Their is a sequential though.

Sorry the car is a bit messy atm as I just installed the new engine and still have a bit more TLCs to do. The dogbox is fun to drive but that's about it. It's a chore and expensive to maintain. If you don't have access to a hoist, don't get one.

Dude, I can not believe I've just found this post now! And that no one replied!

Nice trans conversion indeed.

I so need a better box as I keep killing the bearings on the output shaft of the standard s2k box. That happens at 400rwhp I guess

Was finding a clutch disk to fit an issue?
Did you need to shorten or mod the tail shaft?
Oh and does the shifter hole line up?

Any help would be awesome.
Thanks
