Has anyone here used this brand? Cause I thought they supplied Walbro and didnt realize that it was TRE brand when i got it.

Is it worth the risk or get a refund and use Walbro?

I have a TRE Performance 255lph pump sitting around. I've personally heard good things about them, but haven't used one yet. They're also supposed to run quieter than Walbros (even though they aren't too loud to begin with).

I had a non-Walbro brand with my S/C kit and it was fine until I made over 400 hp and then it couldn't keep up. If you are turbo'd, I wouldn't chance it and just get the Walbro.

 

I have it and had no problems with it at early boost < 10psi. But I did switch out to another pump as I was increasing my boost for the last time. As Jaundice said, it seemed like it couldn't keep up.

 

you don't want it to lean out up top when you need it to perform the most, and thats generally when they have their issues.
