And if you want true twin scroll you need a turbo that has a two totally seperate chambers for the exhaust to flow through like this.

You do not necessarily need two wastegate's to run a twin scroll set up... As shown here:

*Notice it stays completely divided all the way down to the wastegate flange

Twinscroll is different from divided housing. Pm the shoden on honda-tech if you want all the info.
Thank you.

Jaundice - not trying to start a fight, I just hate seeing misinformation. I understand that the sexy term of "twin scroll" has taken over the meaning, but that doesn't make it right. You cringe when you see people post "VTECH" don't you? How about when people call the thing on their houses that points to Direct TV a "satellite"? Just as many people get those wrong everyday, doesn't make it any more right.

Wow!!! I was away on business for a couple of days. Holy shiz you guys got some good info. Great pics to.

Okay. I do have to admit I am still not entirely sure of the debate that’s going on regarding "twin scroll" & "divided housing".

Can someone provide a very specific differentiation between the two? Or more importently tell me which one is better.
