Tryna Boost?
I have recently decided to turbo my 2005 Ap2 s2000. There are sooooo many opinions for best turbo kit for s2k's. Im looking for some help on how I should go about this process. As of right now my car has 74k miles on the stock ap2 motor. My first question would be for internals. Should I try and run a turbo without them or forge them and build my block? -If so what kit should I look into. Second question what are your guys opinions on turbo kits. My goal range would be anywhere from 450-550hp. Reliability is a big concern of mine too. Im willing to buy the best parts and do all the necessary steps to keep it running strong. Meth, Nitrous, and race gas are out of the equation as of right now.I do have some preferences on parts like I would like to run the Aem ems and have a Tial blow off valve. I have a local tuner that will build and tune my car professionally. All posts are greatly appreciated and will be taken into consideration.

There's really no need to build your block at that power goal. The stock block is very strong as is and even the head flows great. One thing you might want to consider is to upgrade valves springs, retainers, and valves so you don't drop a valve.
As for a kit, for what you're looking to put down, you should definitely look into Ptuning or Full Blown.

I'm surprised at how many people don't know the f20/22 comes with forged internals from the factory.
Check out Real Street Performance, they were pushing upwards of 700whp on a totally stock bottom end. He thought he cracked the water jacket so he pulled the thing apart to find the block in pristine condition. The pressure was so high that the head separated from the block and blew a frost plug out in the head which is what caused his problems. The Block is extremely strong from factory, if people blow it up it's their own fault not the engine.
