It was questioned why KW chose the smaller Rotrex charger a while back and they claimed it fit the airflow characteristics of our engine better. I have no idea how to read blower compressor maps but the explanation seemed to add up.

My view is you're going to get ~50 more hp with the bigger unit but it will not be as efficient down lower where you're going to be spending most of your time anyway. I have no dyno's to confirm this but I can post my dyno with the regular KW kit. I am perfectly happy with it and it's been good to me (noting I did all the kit upgrades and supporting mods mentioned elsewhere).

I may have a dyno of my TTS race kit in a few weeks.

Im hoping to get it tuned with a 14psi restrictor and maybe unrestricted possible with meth.

When are you staying in the low rpm range? We are rarely below 4k anyways so the statement holds no value. The C38 is far better for the F20 or F22. I think KW just had a big head and could never admit when they were wrong.

Thanks for all the info. Price wise are these kits similar? im leaning towards KW for the reliability aspect.
I'd like to see the reliability information. TTS kits have been on Honda, VW, Audi, Lotus, Citroen, and many brands of motorcycle for years now. KW's track record is a like a pebble on a 5-mile beach compared to TTS.
Very true. Plus KW is not as reliable as people think.

Isn’t KW suspected to be out of business at this point? Didn’t I just come across a thread where there are some members that paid for their kits several months ago, but still haven’t received them?

I'm not sure if reliability is something that is the deciding factor.

The main unit is a Rotrex so that should be the only crucial part (same on both kits)

The rest is various pulleys that are particular to each kit and are all subjective.

I just talked to a tech and a few KW users on this forum and i've heard zero negatives. TTS seems like a competant and proficient company especially in terms of this kit but the fact that i'd have to cross the pond to get it or any tech service on vehicles that aren't USDM makes me wonder if its worth it. Plus shipping would prob kill me.

R3D:

The TTS kit cost me $158 for shipping and it took two days to get here. The reality is this rock is getting smaller every day.

^^^^ This. Supposedly Skunk 2 is trying to fix things but to be honest i don't they are competent. Just so people don't think i am a KW basher. I had the first AP1 kit on my car.
