Default Turbo 101

Do you guys change the injectors or fit any piggyback ECU to turbo the S2000?
If you are just boosting 8 tp 10psi would I need the items I asked?
Is stock S2000 pistons, rods, rings & head gasket can take 10psi all day long?
Just researching and doing my homework.

No plan of going more than 10psi.

Thanks a million

Yes you will need larger injectors if you are going turbo.

As far as ECU's go it seems AEM Ems is the standard for turbod s2k's.

From what I've learned here in the last month here doing research (search button) 10 psi is going to be pushing it. I think 7 to 8 is the most you can push if you want to keep it reliable. If you want to go with more you will probably need to install a thicker head gasket to lower the compression ratio. Inline Pro uses a 3mm head gasket and are installing and tuning kits running 15 psi at around 400 whp. Or atleast thats what they told me.

Stock internals are forged so pistons and rods should be fine.

Bottom line is it's all in the tune, you can buy all the best parts in the world but if you have a novice tune it you can kiss your motor goodbye. Find somebody experienced in FI for S2000's to do your work.

You are very helpful.
At least I have a guide and understanding of the S2000.
I have no problem in turbocharging, however don't know much about the internals of the said car.

Thanks a lot...appreciate the informations

10psi is fine as long as the AF is like 11.5ish. EMS is the best but you can use E-Manage. 00-03 you need at least 550 to run 10psi, 04+ you need at least 650 or maybe even 750cc's. You don't need open exhaust, just at least a 2.75".

Buy the Lovefab kit that comes with EMS and injectors and a great kit altogether. Lovefab.com.
