Ive been thinking about doing this but dont know if Id be ok on a stock daily driven f20c besides the ap2 retainer swap. Has 160k miles Looking for 300-350whp. Please advise

Someone just asked this not long ago. Check your compression and make sure its consistent. If your swapping valve spring retainers you should be fine since they will be new. Might want to change the water pump and oil pump and check to see if your burning oil. Should be okay after that.

does it have the updated piston oil squirters? You should do a compresison & leak down test to confirm condition of the motor.

I thought all AP1s burn oil no matter what??

They usually burn a little but if excessive then you have an issue.
