Default Turbo facing down design

I m givin up on forward facing design. Too much to deal with / Cant pull it off. What about down facing design? Seems to have enough space, and heat issues way easier to deal with + piping is world easier / shorter / more rigid / less weight / heated surface.
Before jumping into it wanna know
Downsides?
Good header suggestions?
Will efr 7670 iwg squeez in? T3 ss/T4 ts?
I would assume ts design will be problematic?
What about easiest design where all cyls just merge right on t3 flange? How efficient is that? Really wanna keep piping compact and away from everything else.

It doesn't clear. you have to run their passenger side engine mount as well.

Check out the Full Race ramhorn.

Only real downsides are being limited in turbo size and having to relocate your oil filter and most likely battery (and either turn or relocate your fuse box). Not sure if the turbo mentioned will fit down there. I doubt it. Most run a GT30 or whatever the Precision similar/equivalent is.

Btw most people refer to this as a "bottom mount" manifold. If you search for that you will find tons of threads and info.

An EFR turbo will not fit down there.

Sure efr not gonna fit in? 7670 should be same size compressor housing as s200sxe on photo - that fits fine with about 1" of extra space.
Or is that for iwg? Cant it be moved around little bit?
Also what about 7064?
Seems like best turbos money can buy for my target hp

it is actually like 3" of extra space... unless header designers dumb enough not to make a inward tilt for turbo flange

That's a 7670? looks a lot smaller than mine. Should try to make it fit with the waste gate, boost controller and recirculation valve on. Keep in mind that the core needs to be clocked a certain way, and so will the compressor housing. The waste gate mount may not end up being in an usable position. Where your turbine housing is located, the Waste Gate will be at the oil filter. The guy that make my manifold and myself spend 2-3 hours trying to make mine fit in a bottom mount location.

Props to you if you can make it fit, though.

this is a good picture to show the enormous size of the EFR turbo.. and this one is single scroll.
