Nope, you don't. I have that turbo and my frame isn't notched and doesn't need it.

Right now my turbo from inline pro is sitting on the frame. It is not the whole thing of course because they notched it already.(a square hole) The coupler is still resting a bit on the frame thought because that is the only part that was not cut because of saftey reasons. IS there something that anyone out here can SHOW me and tell me how they did it. Ideas are welcomed very much thanks. Oh and by the way i need to polish the hell out of my charge pipes where can i get that done too? and how much does it run?? thanks guys....
What turbo are you running?
Does it touch on all inlinepro kits?

PM Ya at inline pro and he will let you know which turbo's will require notching the frame.

There are a few posts from others that are true, though for peace of mind, Always contact the shop for the answers.

You should not have to notch it with a .30 as long as your motor mounts are in good shape and the engine torques minimally to the passenger side. For the most part the only reason for nothing the frame is to get the cold side compressor housing onto the turbine. Once its on there should be some clearance.

Todd and I went over your car - Nice Car BTW -
We came up with a plan and should be no problem to stop the turbo from hitting the frame, we will get that fixed with the other items and put a nice tune on it, I know you will be very happy once you feel what your turbo S really can do.
