I'll vouch for silver Rustoleum high heat paint. After two years it still looks good. Thats better than BBQ grill paints that let the rust come back through.

Stop using the WD40, it's mainly solvent and the slight protection it offers flashes off with temperature - so all it's doing it removing any film on the turbo and allowing it to rust after.

I am not using the wd40...have not done anything yet. VHT seems to be the route but hoping the Diamond Coat from KBS will work, its clear and is supposed to stay clear and its flexible.

Well I guess that settles that...I am certainly going to put something on it! I am a bit afraid to the the BBQ paint...my neighbors may try to get me to cook a pig on it or something.
