Turbo and Supercharger Dyno
USABLE POWER IS ALWAYS THE KEY, on two wheels street or dirt...or on 4 wheels street or dirt...... superchargers win on that, predictable linear power.
However... ultimate power sometimes means > linear usable power.

Yeah you're right about that

Your shortblock will be completed end of the coming week. Start counting the days my friend...

Yea,
As soon as Asura gets the turbo worked out for road racing (cooling) I think that will be the way to go. A good manifold like the Full Race, and a GT35 would be very nice.
Until then we're putting on a FMIC, a new wheel, and a header to try and crack 450 whp.

Your header will be ready during the off-season. I think you will have plenty of power on tap for the last race at Thunderhill, I hope it is not wet

If you need a bit smaller or a pulley to compensate for the pressure drop from the FMIC let me know.
Guys,
Just an FYI, Bill made 407WHP with a STOCK header, and 70mm exhaust.
I think that's impressive. I tuned his car back to back with Krazik and Diez.
Regards,
Asura

You guys considered running the SOT supercharger kit? Full boost at idle
makes power at all rpms similar to the turbo minus the lag with great response.

whats the max BOOST the SOT s/c can make?
edit: found that the base kit makes that power at only 6.5psi.

the boost actuator bypass valve is the weak point of the kit (as it will inevitably leak) and magnusson claims they last years but i've seen them having to be changed out every three-four months (unless in the last few years they had to cycle out a bad batch of them). fortunate for the s2ooo kit the boost actuator is easily accessible and would only take a few minutes to change out and they are only 'round $35 or so.
