Default Turbocharging or Supercharging the S?

I'm Just curious. I want Horsepower gains in the 400. I've had different ppl say each one, but none of them actually owned an S2k so I decided to get on here and ask around. Thanks In Advance.

400whp more than stock? or just 400whp? You could get to 400whp with either a turbo or a supercharger (horsepower will be very peaky with a centrifugal s/c though).

The powerband in a turbo setup can't be beat, but the question is how often do you like to work on your car?

Turbo is much more efficient then a supercharge, and yes you need alot of money on the side just incase anything were to happend. This is way I purchase an EVO because the engine is capable of handling 500whp without any problems with all the supporting modification.

But a built s2000 engine with turbo would be insane =)

I'm taking out a 15k loan and putting money into the turbo first. Then I go from there. I plan on doing internal work but I would really like to keep the budget for the engine work at 9k. Right now I'm thinking InlinePRO with the AEM EMS w/U band and most of the options.

It's more expensive to put an S/C into the 400whp mark at this point

Turbo has better power band but is harder to tune than SC. I am not sure if SC is more expensive at the 400 WHP in both case you will need to build the engine if you want to have a wider safe margin
