Default Turnng up the Boost, need some help

Well im finnaly turning up the boost i went and bought a 2mm head gasket from Cometic....

basically im new to turbo cars in general, and the question i need help with is do i need to change my wastegate spring in order to achieve higher boost if i have a boost controller?

I bought the turbo XS Dual stage boost controller, and a tial 38 mm wastegate that has a .5 bar spring in it, would i need to change it if i wanna run say 12 - 15 lbs.? and where would i get the spring from, directly from Tial?

Thanx Any help will be much appreciated!

The purpose of a boost controller is so you don't need to replace the spring each time you want to change the boost level.

I see you are from Michigan, where did you get it tuned at? I am looking for a good tuner near by. I origanally got tuned at tunning factory in Farmington Hills but I think Cody's street tune is a lot better.

Thanx for the help!

I went to The Tuning Factory also, I think the tune wasnt that great cuz i get some blips in the power at around 3000-4000 RPM, but the A/F's are fine. I need to get it tuned by cody or mabye get Payne to Tune it.....Im gonna wait till i get some more parts for the fuel lines though before retuning it....which means stock boost for a little while longer.

I had another question, if any one knows....when i ordered my gasket i told the lady a 2mm head gasket, she gave me the part number so i ordered it. when i recieved it, its .030", i thought a 2mm is .07", am i wrong or do i have the right part?

Any help would be great!

Thanx
